Linsey McNelis

Linsey spent four years working as an educator with children with special needs, and through her work became interested in the power of play. She trained as a Play Therapist to help children to work through their difficulties in a safe environment through play, becoming more self-aware and developing their self- esteem.

Linsey has an interest in working with parents and has trained with UK charity Big Toes Little Toes, now offering a program to help strengthen parent- child relationships called Parent Child Attachment Play. She works closely with the parent to support them in using play at home to engage with and enjoy time with their child.

Linsey has also trained in the charities other Attachment programs;
Baby Bonding and Heart to Heart. Baby Bonding is a lovely gentle
approach to encourage early secure Attachment. Classes can be ran
with mothers from 28 weeks of pregnancy through to infants of age 3. Heart to heart is a program designed to work with older children and their parents together, usually from 5-15. It is a play- based program that helps strengthen Attachment.

Linsey is accredited by Play Therapy Ireland and abides by their
ethical framework.
